YAKMA — The Center for Latino Farmers, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture Risk Management Agency, is hosting a Spanish-language crop insurance risk management workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Rural Community Development Resources Small Business Incubator building, 22 S. Third Ave.
The workshop is designed for new and emerging Latino farmers who want to learn how crop insurance works. The workshop will cover what kind of insurance farmers should buy and the information necessary to apply.
