Graziano-Ramos
Cindy Ramos and Rich Graziano were married Sept. 20 at the First Baptist Church in Yakima. A reception followed at the Holiday Garden Inn.
The bride is the daughter of Lloyd and Jan Ward of Yakima and Sotero and Olga Ramos of Wapato. The bridegroom is the son of Joseph and Margaret Graziano of Holts Summit, Mo., and the late Daryl and Judy Durbin.
Desiree Garza was maid of honor, Tiffany Bautista was matron of honor and Ben Brink was best man. Other members of the wedding party included Glenda Ellis, Pamela Lopez, Jill Swanson, Lana Koenes, Madison Besaw, Lynzee Lopez, Zach Garza, Terry Hartman, Jeff Kasler, Ed Vaughn, Frank Besaw, Mason Bautista, Andrew Besaw, Will Lenhart and Andy Bradshaw.
The bride graduated from Wapato High School. She is an administrative assistant for the Department of Agriculture. The bridegroom earned his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Missouri and his master's degree in sociology and criminal justice from Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Mo. He is a manager with the Washington State Department of Corrections.
Following a trip to Kona, Hawaii, the couple is at home in Yakima.
Hicks-Christie
Amber Christie and Tyler Hicks were married Aug. 2 at the Yakima Area Arboretum. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Roger and Sandy Christie of Federal Way, Wash. The bridegroom is the son of Doug and Denise Hicks of Yakima.
Jill Wakefield was matron of honor and Josh Torpy was best man. Other members of the wedding party included Heather Biels, Michelle Schneider, Tasha Gagoush, Brian Rew, Casey Sippola and Nick Grosz.
The bride is employed at the Apple Tree Resort. The bridegroom is employed with Stoneway Electric Supply.
Following a trip to Southern California, the couple is at home in West Valley.
Sainsbury-Garner
Jody Irene Rae Garner and Jerry Sainsbury were married Oct. 4 at Fontaine Estates in Gleed. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of James and Donna Garner of Selah. The bridegroom is the son of Burl and Dorothy Sainsbury of Naches.
Jammie Apodaca was matron of honor and Jason Slavin was best man. Other members of the wedding party included Tina Garner, Hillary Roy, Tracey Bost, Dan Apodaca, David Roy, Robert Garner, Jeremy Smith and Shae Sainsbury.
The bride graduated from Selah High School and is employed as a property manager in Selah. The bridegroom graduated from East Valley High School and is a machine operator at Graham Packaging in Selah.
Following a delayed trip to West Yellowstone, Mont., the couple is at home on Chinook Pass.
Bewick-Miller
Kari Lynn Miller and Joseph Allen Bewick were married Sept. 27 at Selah Covenant Church. A reception followed at the Selah Civic Center.
The bride is the daughter of Tim and Joyce Graham of Selah and Larry and Diane Barajas of Zillah. The bridegroom is the son of Kevin and Delynda Stevens of Sandpoint, Idaho, and Jerry and Sheryl Bewick of Osburn, Idaho.
Tiffany Lakey was matron of honor and Jamie Bewick was best man. Other members of the wedding party included Tiana Day, Kimberly Cobb, Felicity Bewick, Jason Schiebner, Travis Wales, Riley Deatherage, Josie Bewick, Trinitee Bewick and Reese Bewick.
The bride graduated from Selah High School. She is a homemaker and works part time at Selah Viking Video. The bridegroom graduated from Selah High School and earned his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Washington State University. He is a project engineer for WRPS at Hanford.
The couple is at home in Selah. They plan a trip to Hawaii for a later date.
Rumsey-Mortensen
Brittany Mortensen and Richard Rumsey were married July 12 at Catholic Resurrection Parish in Zillah. A reception followed at the Hyatt Winery.
The bride is the daughter of Sandie Mortensen and Kevin and Nancy Mortensen, all of Zillah. The bridegroom is the son of Jesse and Rosie Rumsey of Pasco.
Brooke Mortensen was maid of honor and Jesse Rumsey was best man. Other members of the wedding party included Tiffanie Mattingley, Kristin Sweezea, Cassie Glondo, Jackie Brewster, Chelsea Silva, Jessilynn Lobos, Braden Mortensen, Scott Silva, Adam Trevino, Andy Watson, Ben Radosevich, Jessica Mortensen, Miranda Lobos, Gracie Glondo, Andrew Trevino and Kurtis Childers.
The bride graduated from Zillah High School and earned her master's degree in social work from Eastern Washington University. The bridegroom graduated from Zillah High School and is attending Western Oregon University, majoring in sign language interpretation.
Following a trip to Hawaii, the couple is at home in Dallas, Ore.
Regan-Swarts
Laura Swarts and Joshua Regan were married Oct. 11 at the Plateau Club in Sammamish, Wash. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Geoff and Dorothy Swarts of Mercer Island, Wash. The bridegroom is the son of Steve and Mary Ann Regan of Zillah.
Sarah Oliver was matron of honor and Ian Barton was best man. Other members of the wedding party included Tanya Swarts, Jessica Swarts, Josh Evans, Pat Moss, Mark Pendleton, Andrew Regan and Aaron O'Malley.
The bride and bridegroom graduated from Washington State University.
Following a Canada-New England cruise, the couple is at home in Seattle.
Gjersing-Fergus
Kristina Lynne Fergus and James Kenneth Gjersing were married Aug. 29 at Cascade Garden. A reception followed.
The bride is the daughter of Derek and Kathy Fergus of Zillah. The bridegroom is the son of Glenn and Michelle Barnes of Yakima.
Kamri Fergus was maid of honor and Adam Lisk was best man. Other members of the wedding party included Elvira Moreno, Nicole Barnes, Michael Shearn and Brian Barnes.
The bride graduated from Zillah High School. The bridegroom graduated from J.M. Perry Technical Institute. He is employed at REC Silicon.
The couple is at home in Moses Lake, Wash.
Davis-Davis
Victoryia Suzanne Katherine Davis and Bradley Joe Davis were married Nov. 7 at the Yakima Area Arboretum.
Millicent Edica was matron of honor and Joanne Yates was best woman. Other members of the wedding party included Danny Rogers and Chris Edica.
The bride graduated from Sunnyside High School. The bridegroom graduated from Eisenhower High School. They own and operate Beauty for Ashes Ministries.
Following a trip to Whistlin' Jack Lodge, the couple is at home in Yakima.
Barr-Powers
Carolyn Powers and Caleb Barr were married Aug. 2 at the Puyallup Church of the Nazarene in Puyallup, Wash.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Powers. The bridegroom is the son of Chuck and Ruth Barr.
Madison Shelton was maid of honor and Joshua Barr was best man. Other members of the wedding party included Jacob Barr and Matt Barr.
The bride is a senior at the University of Washington. The bridegroom is a linguistic graduate from UW. They have both studied abroad, he in Israel and she in Guatemala.
Following a trip to Baja, Mexico, the couple is at home in Seattle.
