Klemz-Macias
Dennis and Kathleen Macias of Yakima announce the engagement of their son, Mario Macias, to Jenelle Klemz. She is the daughter of Eve Eichner of Bloomfield, Mich., and Kevin Klemz of Shelby Township, Mich.
The bride-to-be graduated from Kimbol High School in Royal Oak, Mich., and earned her bachelor's degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. She is the marketing manager for QualSight in Chicago. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from Naches Valley High School. He earned a gemologist degree from the Gemologist Institute of America in Carlsbad, Calif. He is a senior diamond dealer for Atlantic Diamond Co. in Chicago.
A wedding is planned in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Kautzman-Navarro
Michael Kautzman of Yakima and Christie Winter of Silverdale, Wash., announce the engagement of their daughter, Nicole M. Kautzman, to Jacob R. Navarro. He is the son of Rose and John Dovel of Yakima and Ray and Laurie Navarro of Kennewick.
The bride-to-be graduated from West Valley High School. She is attending Yakima Valley Community College and plans to continue her studies and earn her masters' degree in business. She is employed at Family Medicine of Yakima. The bridegroom-to-be graduated from West Valley High School. He is serving in the Army and plans to continue with his studies. The couple will relocate in early 2009 to New York, where the future bridegroom will be stationed.
A Dec. 27 wedding is planned in Yakima.
Van Buskirk-Yocom
Heidi L. Van Buskirk and Richard E. Yocom have announced their engagement. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Lana F. Thayer of Yakima and Charles B. Wilson of Richland. The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Lana Williamson of Yakima and Stanley Yocom of Chehalis, Wash.
The bride-to-be is employed at Dr. Carbery's Oasis Dental. The bridegroom-to-be is employed with Peninsula Truck Lines.
A Feb. 28, 2009, wedding is planned at Stone Church.
